We are UK based gem dealers that source our stones directly from miners at source, on the ground in Tanzania.
We have some of the lowest prices on the planet and supply everyone from the general public to jewellers/designers, wholesalers/gem dealers, and collectors. We also supply many online jewellers, re-sellers as well as online designers. We are also currently supplying most of the online wholesalers in the US.
We source directly at source in Arusha, Tanzania, from our own buying office there.
We buy DIRECT from miners on a one-to-one basis, this is easy as we speak most of the local languages.
So knowing where our stones come from, where they are mined and who mines them, we make sure ALL stones are ethically sourced and that we have created a "win-win", long-term relationship, that is sustainable and workable for miner and us.
We buy mostly from small scale, artisan miners who with decades of business with them, know them all personally and make sure a good portion of the proceeds of mining and sales are plugged back into the community and areas where the miners live, to assist with schools, medical clinics, women empowerment groups, continuous education programs, as well as orphans and social development programs. We make sure mining is done with minimal impact to the environment, so that when mining is over, the earth is covered up and used for farming. We have in the past, shown small miner groups how to be structured and how to obtain finance from the government as well as government mining support to them. We offer technical support as well as market info which helps miners grade their goods at the mine before coming to us.
Whenever we buy from miners, we make sure they are HAPPY selling to us, and they are smiling, so all your stones are from happy miners!!

If you need a particular type/quality of stone and can't see it on the website, then please do reach out and ask us if we can find it for you. We can even source it directly from a miner for you.
